Mental Health Recovery Specialists
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Recovery Specialists to join our team. This role involves supporting individuals on their journey to mental wellness through personalized care, counseling, and therapeutic activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and possess skills in art therapy, psychopharmacology, and gender issues counseling. Duties
Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions focused on recovery and wellness strategies
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and healthcare professionals
Utilize art therapy techniques to facilitate emotional expression and healing
Educate clients about psychopharmacology, including medication management and side effects
Address gender issues counseling to support diverse client needs and promote inclusivity
Monitor client progress and adjust recovery plans accordingly
Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, treatment progress, and client interactions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Support clients in developing coping skills, resilience, and self-management strategies
Experience
Prior experience working in mental health or behavioral health settings is preferred
Knowledge of art therapy practices is highly desirable
Familiarity with psychopharmacology principles relevant to mental health treatment is a plus
Experience providing gender issues counseling or working with diverse populations is beneficial
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Certification or licensure in mental health counseling or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
