Travel RN - Long-Term Care (LTC)

DescriptionWe're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in Kearney, NE.The right RN should have 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Read below for more requirements.As an RN in Long-term care, you will oversee and provide nursing care to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or rehabilitation needs. You will coordinate care, supervise nursing staff, and work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote resident health and quality of life.As an RN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plansAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedMonitor residents' conditions and report changes promptlySupervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activitiesProvide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing proceduresCoordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workersEnsure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelinesParticipate in care plan meetings and family conferencesDocument nursing care and resident progress accurately and timelyAssist with admissions, discharges, and transfersThe ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an RN in a Long-Term Care setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.RNs in long-term care should be compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex patient needs in a team-focused environment.Requirements*: BLS, 2 Years
