The organization is known for tackling challenging projects with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a Senior Pursuits & Proposal Specialist to lead strategic proposal development efforts and help position the organization for continued success in competitive markets.Why join us?Join a respected and growing construction organization with a strong pipeline of impactful projectsCollaborate with executive leadership, operations teams, and business development professionals on high-visibility pursuitsPlay a critical role in shaping the company’s brand, messaging, and win strategyOpportunity to work on complex federal, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial opportunitiesBe part of a culture that values teamwork, innovation, communication, and continuous improvementCompetitive compensation package, strong benefits, and long-term career growth opportunitiesWork in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your creativity and strategic thinking are highly valuedGain exposure to large-scale design-build, negotiated, and competitive procurement processesJob DetailsResponsibilities:Lead the development, coordination, and production of high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and pursuit materialsManage proposal schedules, deliverables, and deadlines across multiple concurrent pursuitsCollaborate with business development, operations, marketing, and executive teams to develop compelling win strategies and messagingWrite, edit, and tailor proposal content to align with client requirements and project opportunitiesCoordinate the collection of technical content, resumes, project profiles, and supporting documentation from internal stakeholdersEnsure all proposal submissions are accurate, compliant, visually polished, and delivered on timeSupport interview preparation efforts, including presentation development, rehearsal coordination, and messaging strategyMaintain and improve proposal templates, pursuit databases, and marketing collateralAssist with market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence gatheringHelp drive continuous improvement initiatives related to proposal processes, branding, and pursuit strategySupport CRM management and business development tracking efforts as neededQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Construction Management, or related field preferred5+ years of proposal coordination, pursuit management, or marketing experience within the construction, engineering, architecture, or professional services industryStrong experience managing complex RFP, RFQ, and interview processesExceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite programs such as InDesign preferredExperience with CRM and proposal management platforms is a plusStrong organizational skills and high attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teamsSelf-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindsetPreferred Qualifications: Prior experience supporting design-build, federal, or negotiated construction pursuitsFamiliarity with construction industry terminology and procurement processesAPMP certification or related professional development is a plusExperience developing strategic messaging and interview coaching materialsAbility to contribute to broader marketing and branding initiatives beyond proposal developmentInterested in hearing more?
