Lead Technical Architect

What You'll Be DoingDesign, build, and deploy agentic AI and LLM-based solutions using the SoundHound Amelia platform and AWS.Develop and optimize AI agents, prompts, tool/function integrations, guardrails, and orchestration workflows.Build and integrate REST APIs, MCP (Model Context Protocol) services, and third-party enterprise systems.Design and implement AWS-based solutions using services such as:LambdaAPI GatewayS3IAMCloudWatchEventBridge/SQS/Step FunctionsCreate Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).Support deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production operations.Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards.Required Background6+ years of software engineering, cloud engineering, or AI development experience (4+ years with a Master's degree).Proven experience personally building and shipping production systems.Hands-on experience with:Agentic AI / LLM applicationsPrompt engineeringTool/function callingMulti-agent workflowsRAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)Strong AWS experience, especially:LambdaAPI GatewayS3IAMCloudWatchInfrastructure as CodeStrong REST API design and integration experience.Experience with MCP or similar AI tool/service orchestration frameworks.Proficiency in at least two programming languages (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, etc.).Experience with Git, CI/CD, and cloud-based troubleshooting. Nice to Have (Not Required)SoundHound Amelia experience (training provided).Conversational AI platforms such as Kore.ai, Cognigy, Dialogflow, Rasa, Amazon Lex, or Bedrock.Healthcare/HIPAA experience.AWS certifications.ServiceNow, Microsoft Entra/Azure AD, or voice/telephony integrations.
