Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description Selectek is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with commercial structural design experience to join our growing design team in Fenton, MO. The client is expanding and looking for someone ready to take on leadership responsibility - managing portions of a project, mentoring junior team members, and interfacing directly with clients. Job Responsibilities:Design electrical power distribution, lighting, and building systems for commercial structuresCollaborate closely with structural and architectural teams to deliver integrated design solutionsOversee and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resourcesProduce and review drawings and documentation using AutoCAD (required) and Revit (preferred)Serve as the client-facing point of contact from design through project completionMentor and lead engineering team members on assigned projects Requirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field5+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial buildingsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience a plusKnowledge of NEC codes and commercial design standardsExcellent communication, organization, and client interaction skillsLeadership experience or readiness to step into a lead roleBackground in commercial structural projects-familiar with how electrical integrates into building frameworksCapable of managing design teams or leading segments of large projectsStrong communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clients and architectsMotivated to grow into a leadership or project management roleBenefits:100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (for you and your family)401(k) with 50% company match up to 8%Annual performance bonus - up to 4 weeks of payTuition assistance: $5,000 per year for certifications, exams, or degree programsLong-term disability and life insuranceRelocation assistance available Sponsorship: No, not available Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 Term of assignment: direct hire Location of job: Fenton, MO Hours & Shift: 8AM- 5PM, Monday to Friday Work from home: Hybrid Working remote: No, not fully.
