Pharmacist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our independent compounding/retail pharmacy team. We are located in a wonderful community with amazing patient base. We currently provide non-sterile compounding, retail, and long term care services, as well as patient wellness clinical opportunities. Competitive pay and benefits and a desirable schedule. Our hours are weekdays 9-7, Saturdays 9-2 and closed on Sundays. It is a busy location with a variety of responsibilities each day. Great team and great atmosphere. Should be interested in compounding pharmacy with a desire to improve patient quality of life through education and knowledge of available options. Responsibilities verify the accuracy and clinical appropriateness of all prescriptions. Counsel patients regarding medications, disease states, and lifestyle modifications. Administer immunizations. Counsel patients with regard to health and wellness. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and drug regulation standards. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively while practicing as a pharmacist in fast-paced clinical settings.
