Job DescriptionPeopleFirst Education Staffing is seeking a School Services School Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Fayetteville, North Carolina.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Occupational TherapistDiscipline: School ServicesStart Date: 08/13/2026Duration: 41 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelPosition Overview:Full-time contract position for the 2026–2027 school year37.5 hours per week (excluding lunch)All OTs are based out of a central office locationCaseload determined using a workload modelApproximately 15–20 hours per week of direct student servicesRemaining time reserved for evaluations, data collection, report writing, IEP meetings, and collaborationResponsibilities:Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPsConduct evaluations and re-evaluationsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansCollaborate with teachers, special education staff, and familiesMaintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelinesParticipate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussionsRequirements:Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy License REQUIREDMust hold licensure by end of July 2026 to be consideredPrevious school-based experience preferred, but not requiredStrong communication and collaboration skillsPeopleFirst Education Staffing Job ID #26-00044.
