Be a part of the Temp-Stop FamilyTemp-Stop started in 1998 and has grown to 10 Convenience Store locations and 2 Liquor Stores. WE NEED YOU TO BE A PART OF OUR FAMILY!We are developing a new Coffee/Donut concept named Baxters. The store will be located in Lee's Summit. We will serve latte's and other coffee specialites, as well as manufacture donuts for retail, as well as delivery to our Temp-Stop locations daily. We are looking for a few individuals who like to work overnight cooking and icing donuts!Primary ResponsibilitiesWe’re searching for individuals who want to make this a career and have a passion for creating baked goods. We understand these are hard times and strive to provide a safe workspace (we abide by CDC guidelines)This position entails pastry prep, making dough, crafting garnishes, shaping dough, frying donuts, icing, and garnishing donuts.Production times typically start at 7am and run until 3pm for dough mixing and frying. Donuts icing and finishing starts at 9am and runs until 5pm.Job Duties:Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely mannerFollow recipes and presentation specificationsOperate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficientlyClean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitationAssist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipmentRestock items as needed throughout the shiftAdhere to all sanitation and food production codesPay Frequency: Bi weeklyStarting pay is $16 an hour depending upon experience. If you have advanced management experience.Earn an additional $.50 cents per hour from Mid-night to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).Earn a performance review in a little as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.Health Insurance is available within 90 days of your starting date.Vacation Pay, Over-time pay over 40 hours, Annual Bonus based upon store profits, Over-time pay for those that work the Holidays.The function of the manager is to perform the following duties in a friendly and professional manner ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance as well as the items above:.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)Stocking shelves and coolersSweeping and mopping floorsChecking product in as it is delivered from vendorsAbility to communicate with associates and guestsAvailable weekend, evening shifts and holidaysMust have reliable transportationMust attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassment)Physical RequirementsFrequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbsBe able to lift up to 50lbs on occasionReaching above shoulder height and bending below waistBe able to freely access all areas of the storeMove quickly around storeWe are an equal opportunity employer.
