Job TitlePay Range: $20.50hr - $25.50hrRequirement/Must Have:High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of manufacturing experience, or an AA Technical Degree with 1+ years of manufacturing experience.Experience in a regulated environment is required.Strong mechanical assembly experience.Strong knowledge of mechanical tools including torque drivers, gauges, and bits.Highly proficient in reading drawings and interpreting or measuring dimensions and requirements.Experience with quality procedures and manufacturing processes.Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.Ability to manage multiple production orders and processes within required time standards.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to manage frequent assignment changes.Ability to work in a repetitive production environment.Reliable transportation is required as the location is not near public transit.Must wear safety shoes.Responsibilities:Assemble and integrate multiple product lines and sub-assemblies into complete instruments.Understand and perform the complete assembly process and requirements for instruments.Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and fitting.Work from drawings, diagrams, and work instructions and interpret dimensions and requirements.Use hand and power tools, jigs, saws, torque drivers, gauges, and other mechanical tools.Perform basic component testing on pre-assemblies and simple instrument modules.Maintain and record Device History Records (DHR), including serial numbers and tool quality inspections according to established quality setup and adjustments while maintaining blueprint tolerances.Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.Perform routine and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair.Execute basic test instructions and analyze results to determine pass/fail and next steps.Identify defects and recommend design and process improvements.Provide training and guidance to associates on mechanical and basic testing activities.Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing as needed.Perform material handling of instrument raw materials and sub-assemblies.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Follow safety, housekeeping, quality, and operating procedures.Work overtime as required to meet business needs.Skills:Electromechanical assembly.Hand soldering.Cable harnessing.Blueprint reading.Torque drivers.Gauges.Troubleshooting.Quality inspection.Qualification And Education:High School Diploma/GED + 3 years manufacturing experience, OR AA Technical Degree + 1 year manufacturing experience.Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to stand for extended periods.
