Vehicle Technician

If you possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for automotive technology, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we invite you to apply and become a vital part of Boson Motors’ mission to drive automotive excellence.Work ExpectationsReceiving delivery of vehicles, doing initial inspection, and completing pre-delivery checklistsDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and resolve themTraveling to customer sites to service vehicles and fix any issues that may ariseAssisting in fabrication of prototypes/ parts for R&D projects as needed,including weldingCreating/ completing test reports as needed by the engineering teamsTake care of general maintenance and presentability of vehiclesDelivering Boson vehicles to different customersTransport of materials between company locationsHelp in setting up of booths at demos/expos, including transporting materialsand vehiclesKeep the working area clean and organizedWork in coordination with operations team to assist with various tasks as neededMaintain/ periodically audit inventory of tools and parts available in theworkspaceReadily available to adjust the schedule and attend work or meetings outsidenormal business hours, as needed by the reporting manager.Willing to take up other tasks and help other technicians as requiredRequirementsQualifications & Skills Required:MandatoryHigh school diplomaAbility to work with common tools found on a shop floorCapability to drive a pickup truck and tow a trailerPrior experience doing hands-on work on automobiles including chassis,suspension,brakes, tires, etcKnowledge of automotive related electrical wiring and ability to work with highvoltage and low voltage automotive systemsAbility to work well with others, collaborate on projects, and contribute positivelyto group dynamicsCapacity to adapt to changing circumstances, handle multiple tasks or projects,and adjust to new ideas or approachesCapability to efficiently manage time to meet deadlinesAdditional Skills (not Mandatory)Metal Fabrication (Cutting, bending, and welding metal)Solar panel, inverter, and battery installationCertified for forklift operationBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Free Food & Snacks
