(Remote position, however, must live within driving distance to the local office as occasional onsite work may be required.) Experience in the areas of Construction Defect Litigation (developer representation) and General Casualty/PI preferred, or recent civil litigation experience. Ideal candidates will excel in document management skills.Key Responsibilities:Records management: indexing records received; following up on missing records; reviewing records for additional sources; initiate processes to obtain records from those additional sources.Public Records Requests for both CD and PI casesPreparation of authorizations and subpoenas and follow up on responses theretoPreparation of draft discovery responses through review of file materials and client follow-up, including signed verificationsCompiling and preparing records for productionFacilitate expert retention and liaison with expert throughout life of caseProfessionally communicate with clients, witnesses, experts and counselAdherence to billing minimums and differing requirements of the carriersOffer trial support, including creating demonstrative aids.Meet and maintain annual firm billable requirements monthly.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of Civil Litigation Paralegal experienceAdherence to assignment/calendar/court deadlinesProficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and AdobeApplication of Bates numbering via AdobeFollow firm’s protocolStrong organizational skills for cases with large volumes of documentationProficiency in current state and federal rules of civil procedureKnowledge of local county court rules and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking capabilitiesAbility to work effectively both autonomously and collaborativelySelf-motivated with ability to work with deadlines and communicating progressBenefits of Joining Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP:Collaborate closely with firm PartnersBonus OpportunitiesIncredible teams and work life balanceFully RemoteGenerous Paid LeaveMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceLife InsuranceVision InsuranceLong Term DisabilityFlex Spending Plan401K + Employer MatchThe anticipated compensation for this role falls between $60,000 and $85,000 annually. While we expect to offer a salary within this range, the final figure will be determined based on several factors, including the selected candidate's expertise and background.
