NetSuite Developer

For our client, we are seeking a NetSuite Developer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.This role will own the development and maintenance of customized NetSuite functionality, with a strong focus on scripting, workflows, and integrations that support business operations across multiple environments. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and technical peers to improve system performance, extend platform capabilities, and ensure solutions are delivered with quality and consistency. The position also offers the chance to contribute to code reviews, documentation, and mentorship while working in an Agile environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annuallyResponsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom NetSuite scripts and workflows Integrate NetSuite with third-party systems using SuiteTalk or RESTlet frameworks Improve existing 3PL integrations and ensure system optimization Maintain APIs following internal guidance and technical standards Deploy development work across multiple environments according to established guidelines Conduct code reviews emphasizing SuiteScript standards and mentor junior developers Stay current on NetSuite updates and best practices Document technical specifications for new features and bug fixesQualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience 4+ years of NetSuite Developer experience, with expert knowledge of SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0 Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP, CRM, and financial modules Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles Proficiency in JavaScript, APIs, SQL, and FreeMarker templates Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools Solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlinesBenefits Collaborative team environment Opportunities for mentorship and development Engagement with third-party systems and advanced integrations Learn and implement best practices in a fast-paced Agile setting Potential for professional growth in the evolving field of NetSuite developmentOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
