The role involves conducting safety training sessions, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and investigating workplace accidents. The Safety Specialist will develop and implement occupational health and safety programs, identify hazards, and work collaboratively to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Additionally, bilingual communication skills will be essential to engage and support teams effectively.QualificationsProficiency in both English and Spanish is requiredExpertise in Occupational Health, Health & Safety, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)Strong skills in Safety Training and Accident InvestigationStrong knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work on-site and adapt to diverse working environmentsRelevant certifications like OSHA certification or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) are an advantageDegree or equivalent experience in Occupational Health, Safety, or related field is preferredLegal resident of USA living within the Louisville areaProof of Valid driver's license, own vehicle and insurance is required
