Toolmaker 2nd Shift $26-34hr
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Tool & Die Maker to support the design, build, refurbishment, and reverse engineering of plastic injection molds used across a variety of industries. This role is based in a clean, climate-controlled, and well-equipped facility and is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, enjoys problem-solving, and prefers a focused second-shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze engineering specifications and CAD models to plan machining and assembly processes
Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate, fit, assemble, repair, and refurbish metalworking dies and mold components
Support plastic injection mold builds through all stages, including troubleshooting and refinements
Perform reverse engineering and mold modifications as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker
Strong, hands-on experience with plastic injection molds (required)
Ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings and CAD models
High attention to detail with strong mechanical aptitude
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
