Partner with cross-functional teams on payroll related projects to definepayrollprocess and recommend improvements.WHAT YOU GET TO DOAssist Senior Payroll Analyst with monthly cash forecast, auditing stock payroll and year-end duties as neededAudit payroll related queries and reports on a periodic basis to be sure data is accurate, timely, and compliant.Identify and recommend payroll process improvements across all business groupsPartners with Senior Payroll Analyst to prepare materials for external or internal auditorsProvide support for payroll processors including researching issues, supporting processes and procedures and reconciling dataResearch, analyze and resolve payroll issues including reconciliations, overpayments, taxation and adjustments with federal, state or local governmentsRespond to questions regarding taxes, garnishments and payroll withholding proceduresResponsible for maintaining, reviewing and responding to inquiries from internal and external customers within established SLA's and quality measuresResponsible for payroll tax filing and reconciliation processes on a periodic, quarterly and annual basisResponsible for registering Amcor companies with tax agencies/localities.Support consistency and applies a continuous improvement framework to program implementation, administration and service level agreementsTroubleshoot tax setup variances within the HRIS systemParticipates in projects and other duties as assignedWHAT WE VALUECollaboration and influence capabilities with relationship building in their core workContinue to advance Amcor business knowledge inside and outside HRDetail orientation with excellent analytical and problem solving skillsEffective communication skills with solid computer proficiencyEmpowered team members that understand the importance of being accountable for their actions and decisionsProcess and system knowledgeThe ability to contribute to project management teamsThe ability to respect and maintain confidential informationWHAT WE WANT FROM YOUBachelor's Degree, preferably in HR, Finance/Accounting, Business Management or equivalent experienceFPC, CPP or Certified Public Accountant preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, tax and/or financeTechnical knowledge of HR information systems preferred; ADP and Workday experience a plus OurExpectations We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
