Middleville Engineered Solutions is looking for a dependable Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll operate stamping presses to produce high-quality parts while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
If you're detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in producing quality products, we'd like to hear from you.What You'll DoOperate mechanical and hydraulic presses according to established procedures.
Perform routine quality inspections using measuring equipment and visual inspections.
Load and unload materials and finished parts.
Monitor production to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
Complete production documentation accurately.
Identify and report equipment issues or quality concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Utilize production systems such as Plex and Smart Pac as needed.
What We're Looking ForMinimum of 12 months of automatic press operating experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to safely follow work instructions and company procedures.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical RequirementsLift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds regularly.
Stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
Perform repetitive motions including reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Work safely around manufacturing equipment.
Work EnvironmentThis position is performed in a manufacturing facility where employees are regularly exposed to machinery, noise, dirt, oil, and other typical plant conditions. Experience
Minimum of 12 months of automatic press operating experience required.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand and walk throughout an entire shift.
ResponsibilityErrors may result in equipment damage, production downtime, material loss, or customer quality concerns.
Job ComplexityOperates stamping presses and performs routine machine adjustments, loading and unloading of materials, and basic troubleshooting. May assist with minor machine maintenance as required.
CommunicationWorks effectively with supervisors, weld leaders, quality personnel, and other departments to maintain production flow and resolve issues.
Mental & Visual RequirementsRequires attention to detail, concentration, and the ability to inspect parts for quality while operating production equipment.
Working ConditionsRegular exposure to manufacturing conditions including noise, dirt, oil, smoke, and moving machinery. PPE is required.
