The position is for an overnight role FYI Duties Efficiently pick orders using Picks sheets that are provided to you. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. Stock shelves and organize inventory within the warehouse distribution center to optimize space and accessibility. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling with manual lifting techniques and heavy equipment operation. Conduct quality control checks during packing and shipping processes to maintain high standards of accuracy. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents and injuries. Assist with inventory management tasks using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and update records accurately. Requirements Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners confidently. Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, manual handling, and warehouse safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail for order picking, and quality control tasks.
