This position is 2nd in command over a very large team of security officers.This role is essential to maintaining operational continuity, supporting personnel, and ensuring that security standards are executed effectively across all shifts. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily security operations to ensure all posts are staffed and functioning effectivelyCoordinate with supervisors and officers to maintain coverage and address operational needsMonitor communications and respond to priorities, changes, and escalationsAssist with scheduling, staffing adjustments, and workforce planningReinforce adherence to post orders, safety standards, and professional expectationsSupport access control processes and help resolve site access issuesEnsure incidents are properly documented and support follow-up investigationsIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvementMaintain accountability for security equipment, vehicles, and assigned resourcesSupport coaching, development, and performance management of security personnelAssist with reporting, documentation, and compliance requirementsQualificationsExperience in security operations, law enforcement, military, or a related fieldStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated initiative and sound decision-making abilityExperience with scheduling, reporting, or workforce coordination preferredAdditional InformationSchedule flexibility may be required, including evenings, weekends, and on-call supportThis role serves as a key extension of site leadership and plays a critical role in maintaining operational standards Pay and Benefits of Security Coordinators: Salary Paid time off and paid holidays Medical and Dental insurance Opportunities for career growth and promotion Skills-enhancing trainingEOE/M/F/D/V#ISD3
