Job Title: Engineering Technician Level 3Location: Munster, IN (225 45th Street)Duration:8+monthJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician Level 3 to support engineering activities related to electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, and specialized test equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills, proficiency in diagnostics, and experience mentoring junior technicians.Key Responsibilities:Support design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems.Work from schematics, diagrams, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting.Conduct operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.ssist in determining methods to resolve malfunctions.Design, construct, test, and check out test equipment.Utilize test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.Frequently interact with peers and customers to exchange technical information.Work on moderately difficult assignments requiring judgment in problem resolution.Develop work instructions and assess the quality of work before final testing. Required Skills & Experience:Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills.Proficiency in component-level diagnostics and circuit tracing.bility to develop and execute desktop testing techniques.dvanced electrical diagnostics on subassemblies, whole units, and individual circuits.Excellent soldering skills (through-hole and surface mount component electronics).Experience mentoring and advising less experienced technicians.bility to cross-reference electrical components for functional equivalents when replacements are unavailable. Education & Experience:Minimum: Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Technology.Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience.
