Program Specialist - Charter SELPA (Central Valley)

Job SummaryThis position is responsible for supporting LEAs in the El Dorado Charter SELPA to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. The Program Specialist will be responsible for supporting Local Education Agencies to include charter schools, and local, regional, and statewide partners in their endeavor to provide quality services and programs to students with special needs.Essential Duties: Program Specialists will provide technical assistance, training, and support to LEAs in implementing special education support and services for students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment both in person and through web-based experiences.Requirements / QualificationsThe program specialist will be responsible for supporting LEAS in person. Program specialist must reside and stay residing in the Central Valley Region in order to support the needs of LEAs in person.The Charter SELPA Program Specialist assignment requires the ability and means to travel regularly on a flexible schedule, including travel locally, within service areas, and throughout the State. Reliable transportation is required to complete work-related travel.
