Manager- Sr. Manager - Audit and/or TaxManagers may serve as the engagement lead or work under the direct supervision of Senior Managers, depending on the nature of the client engagement. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills to successfully manage multiple engagements and deadlines while delivering high-quality client service.Role OverviewWork as part of a team to provide audit engagement and/or tax services for clientsInteract regularly with clients and firm team membersCoordinate multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting established deadlinesLeadership & Team ManagementTrain, mentor, and lead Senior Associates and AssociatesInstruct team members on work to be performedReview completed work, provide feedback, and direct necessary revisionsOversee and review work to ensure quality, accuracy, and timelinessProvide feedback to Senior Managers and PrinciplesTax ResponsibilitiesReview mid- to high-level business tax returns and individual income tax returnsAdvise clients on a broad range of tax servicesOversee complex tax research projectsManage tax accounting projects to meet client needs within specified timeframesAudit ResponsibilitiesLead audit engagement teams through all phases of the audit, including:Gathering information from clientsLeading planning meetingsPerforming risk assessmentsOverseeing fieldwork proceduresManaging the audit through final report issuanceClient Service & Relationship ManagementManage client relationships by monitoring and responding to client needsServe as a key point of contact for clients on day-to-day accounting mattersUse sound judgment and analysis to prepare and review accounting-related reportsProvide financial analysis to help improve client internal controls and accounting proceduresIdentify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and cross-sell additional firm servicesBusiness Development & Technology* Participate in business development activities* Utilize cloud-based technology and audit software to enhance engagement efficiency
