Part Time Mechanic

Job Description Parr's Enterprises is looking for a dependable, experienced Part-Time Mechanic to help maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, trailers, equipment, and small engines — primarily on weekends.We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and capable of keeping equipment work-ready with minimal supervision.Responsibilities:• Diagnosing and repairing trucks, trailers, and equipment• Preventative maintenance and routine service work• Brake, suspension, steering, hydraulic, and electrical repairs• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus• Driving company trucks and pulling trailers when neededBe able to obtain a DOT physical• Properly hooking up, unhooking, and backing trailers safely• Operating various types of equipment including skid steers, excavators, loaders, and other machinery when needed• Moving and organizing equipment around the shop/property• Keeping equipment, tools, and shop organized• Identifying maintenance issues before breakdowns occur• Assisting with general shop upkeep when neededRequirements:• Mechanical experience required• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently• Weekend availability required• Valid driver's license required• Clean background check required• Must be comfortable driving trucks and pulling trailers• Ability to safely back, hook, and unhook trailers required• Experience operating different types of heavy equipment preferred• Ability to lift 75+ lbs• Reliable, punctual, and self-sufficient• Experience with diesel equipment, trailers, excavation equipment, or heavy-duty trucks preferredWhat We Offer:• Competitive pay based on experience• Flexible part-time weekend schedule• Steady work available• Variety of equipment and hands-on work• Family-owned, fast-paced work environment
