Controls Engineer

Job Title: Controls Engineer OR Senior Control Engineer Location: Cedar Rapids, IA | Phoenix, AZ (HQ) | Salt Lake City, UT Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site Salary: Depending up on experience & skills About the job Seeking a Senior Controls Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead advanced industrial automation and mission-critical control system projects. While our U.S. headquarters is based in Phoenix, we have offices nationwide and globally. This role is on-site in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, or Cedar Rapids depending on candidate location. What You'll Do: Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems Develop HMI/SCADA applications (Ignition preferred) Integrate systems using Modbus TCP/IP and other industrial protocols Work with Rockwell (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx), Siemens, and Modicon platforms Develop logic using Ladder, Function Block, and Structured Text Lead troubleshooting, commissioning, and system optimization Support mission-critical and data center projects (preferred, not required) Interface with clients and mentor junior engineers What You Bring: 10+ years of Controls Engineering experience preferred; candidates with less than 10 years of experience may also be considered. Strong PLC programming background (Rockwell preferred) Experience with Ignition SCADA Experience with field device gateways and industrial networking Data center or mission-critical experience is a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, not required We are looking for a technically strong, hands-on engineer who can own projects from design through commissioning and thrive in complex, high-performance environments.
