Machine Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming tools such as Fanuc controls. Set up machinery using blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), CAD drawings, and tooling specifications to ensure precise production runs. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of equipment to maximize uptime and maintain safety standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure product specifications are met. Handle materials safely within the factory environment, utilizing forklifts for materials handling and transportation when necessary. Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Maintain detailed records of production activities, including shift reports, incident logs, and quality documentation. Support assembly line operations by assisting with fabrication, welding, or packaging tasks as needed. Follow safety protocols rigorously while operating hand tools and machinery in a fast-paced factory setting. Experience Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on machine operation. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in operating CNC machines (including CNC programming), stamping presses, press brakes, CAM programming, and CAD software such as SolidWorks. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Fanuc controls, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other automation equipment preferred. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings with GD&T standards. Skilled in using precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers for quality assurance purposes. Knowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Prior factory or manufacturing experience emphasizing safety procedures, quality control practices, and efficient workflow management is highly desirable.
