Senior Generalist, HR Manufacturing
Job DescriptionJob Title: SrHuman Resources GeneralistLocation: Winchester, VAUnder direction of the Plant Human Resources Manager - Manufacturing, the Sr.Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day administration and execution of HR policies, programs and procedures within the facility. The Generalist performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas; employee/labor relations, training & development, employee communications & engagement, recruitment & staffing, compliance and benefits administration. In this role, the incumbent will be expected to solve problems, develop and execute objectives under minimal direction and have the ability to effect business goals and partner/participate in factory-wide initiatives and projects.Key Responsibilities to include but limited to the following:Assist on key human resource processes, including workforce planning, annual reviews (performance/succession planning), compensation administration and organizational change/effectivenessManages talent acquisitions activities within the facility (i.e. recruitment, selection & testing, onboarding, etc.)Assist in managing employee & labor relations by investigating, resolving and communicating in regards to employee questions, issues or concerns.Manages HR administrative & transactional work processesRecordkeepingAttendance trackingFMLA administrationLeave managementHR SystemsAssist with working with corporate compliance and legal department to ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of HR including ensuring the Affirmative Action/EEO Program is kept current and updated accordinglyAssist in developing and administering appropriate trainings across the facilityCoordinate and activate employee engagement and communication plans and activitiesAssist in championing employee wellness initiatives and drive through activities, education and awarenessParticipates in and supports all internal/external audits within the facility as necessaryOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related fieldMinimum of one-year experience in a Human Resources related professionSkills/CompetenciesExcellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work with individuals across all levels of the organizationExcellent computer skillsStrong drive for results, problem solving & conflict management abilitiesStrong ability to deal with ambiguityDemonstrated leadership and good organizational & planning skillsAbility to practice a high level of confidentialityOur Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz' strategy and values.New Hire Base Salary Range:$77,800.00 - $97,300.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsBenefits: Coverage for employees (and their eligible dependents) through affordable access to healthcare, protection, and saving for the future, we offer plans tailored to meet you and your family's needs.
