This full-time, school-based occupational therapy position offers an excellent opportunity to support students' development and academic success in a collaborative educational setting. Located in South Hill, VA, the role focuses on providing therapeutic services during the 2026-2027 school year, with a 37.5 hour per week schedule.Responsibilities include:Conducting evaluations and assessments of students' fine motor, gross motor, sensory, and functional skillsDesigning and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goalsDelivering direct occupational therapy services individually and in groupsCollaborating closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomesMonitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting interventions when necessaryParticipating in IEP meetings and contributing professional recommendationsIdeal candidates will have:A valid Virginia state Occupational Therapist licenseExperience in school-based occupational therapy, including work with pediatric populationsStrong skills in fine and gross motor developmentEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesDedication to helping children succeed academically and sociallyThis position supports student growth from early childhood through high school, working with children ages 3 to 18.
