A rapidly growing 100 person high-tech company in Charlotte is currently hiring for a mid-level SQL DBA!ResponsibilitiesFollow and uphold all Enterprise Query StandardsCollaborate with application support specialists and developers to implement data changes in line with established change‑management processesPartner with the application support team to support quarterly release cyclesAnalyze, refine, and optimize queries flagged as potentially harmful to production, focusing on scalability, availability, and performance improvements QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related disciplineAt least 2 years of hands‑on experience administering MS SQL Server Strong analytical judgment and problem‑solving skills for addressing significant technical issuesDeep understanding and consistent application of Enterprise Query StandardsAdvanced proficiency with T‑SQL and PowerShellExperience reviewing SQL queries using execution plans, DMVs, Profiler, or Extended EventsFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and tools is beneficialBenefits Base salary 90-110K10% Bonus401K with company match5 Weeks PTOMedical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance benefits on the 1st day of employment
