Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber Companies, divisions of US LBM provides a wide range of building materials to construction professionals, combining the advantages of our national scale with the excellent service levels, expertise, entrepreneurial culture and customer relationships of our local brands.As a people-first company, passionate about continuous improvement, US LBM is proud to provide our associates access to the resources, training and developmental opportunities to empower them to succeed today, while growing professionally and preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.As a people-first company, passionate about continuous improvement, US LBM is proud to provide our associates access to the resources, training and developmental opportunities to empower them to succeed today, while growing professionally and preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.We are seeking a UNION Laborer!Pay Rate: $20.78/hourEssential Job Duties: Follow all safety procedures as outlined by company safety program.Responsible for general housekeeping of warehouse and building groundsAssist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in maintaining organized work environment.Assist in the receiving of in-coming warehouse/yard products, commodities, and other required materialsAssist in the stocking of received material into appropriate bins and storage locations.Perform general building maintenanceAssist with "Will Call" or "Walk-in" customer ordersAssist in the staging of materials to be deliveredSafely operate forklift for any or all of required responsibilitiesRetain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand toward producing error and damage free resultsFollow all company policies and guidelinesAssist Drivers with the safe delivery of building materials to customer jobsiteAssist Drivers in effective and safe load securement of building materials.Perform additional duties as necessary.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Minimum education required: HS Diploma or GEDBasic math, measurements, and reading skillsGeneral forklift knowledge is preferred.Physical Requirements: Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods of time, exposure to extreme temperatures (cold and hot), bending and stooping, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds or more.Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber Companies, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
