Part-Time IT Support Specialist (ABA Clinic)

Behavior Functions Inc. is hiring a Part-Time IT Support Specialist to keep our clinical technology running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot devices, manage secure access, and empower staff with reliable tech tools—all while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Responsibilities  Provide on-site and remote technical support for clinicians, supervisors, and administrative staff  Troubleshoot issues with laptops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices used in therapy sessions  Maintain HIPAA-compliant data security protocols across devices and networks  Support onboarding/offboarding with IT setup, user accounts, and permissions  Assist with EMR platform access (e.g., CentralReach, Catalyst) and integrations  Monitor Wi-Fi connectivity and troubleshoot clinic network issues  Document IT procedures and maintain support logs for compliance audits  Coordinate with external vendors for hardware/software procurement and repairs Qualifications  Experience in IT support, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health settings  Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure data handling  Proficiency with Windows, MacOS, and mobile device management  Knowledge of productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)  Strong communication and problem-solving skills  Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent requests Ideal Candidate  Tech-savvy and empathetic, with a service mindset  Comfortable supporting clinicians in high-stakes, time-sensitive environments  Interested in contributing to a mission-driven organization that serves neurodiverse communities Bonus Skills  Experience with ABA software platforms (e.g., CentralReach, Rethink, Catalyst)  Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk)  Basic scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) The position is part-time, approximately 10–12 hours per month, with occasional special projects Job Type: Part-time Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Flexible schedule Paid time off Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Work Location: In person
