Apply today for our Registered Nurse RN NICU opportunity.Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the general supervision of the Director and Manager of Maternal Child Department, and the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse in the Level II Nursery is responsible for the provision of safe, effective care of the newborn.What you will do in this role:You will assume responsibility for the efficient management of patients including but not limited to assessments and care planningYou will demonstrate and maintains competencies in all aspects of newborn care and able to delegate appropriately.You will demonstrate knowledge and properly documents in a timely manner all patient assessment, vital signs, critical results, care planning, and educationYou will organize and maintains proper equipment and supplies needed for newborn careYou will maintain effective communication with leadership, physicians, co-workers, patients and visitors to promote patient safety and satisfactionYou will ensure implementation of operational standards which promote the maintenance of patient rights for the newborn and parentsYou will demonstrate knowledge of & practices the ICARE philosophy daily by interacting in a positive manner with all patients, visitors and colleaguesYou will demonstrate knowledge and maintains all quality initiatives which include but are not limited to Core Measures, Risk Reduction Initiatives and Patient SatisfactionYou will demonstrate professionalism by maintaining proper dress code, telephone etiquette, and projecting positive image and attitudeWhat qualifications you will need:Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma requiredBachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
