We are recruiting this Staff Pharmacist position for Crosby's Family Drugs located in Columbus, OH. Crosby's Drugs has been servicing the community since 1954.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Pharmacist role located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Staff Pharmacist will review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company policies. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper use, potential side effects, and interactions, and collaborating with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapy. The role also includes overseeing pharmacy technicians, supporting inventory management and medication storage standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Staff Pharmacist will contribute to quality assurance efforts, uphold patient safety protocols, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.Job Responsibilities:Answering any pharmacy related questions from patients, clients, caregivers, health care professional or employees.Assist walk-in and phone in customers with prescription filling and pharmacy related over-the-counter medication needs.Process prescriptions via pioneer RX computer system.Count, fill, label, package, check and dispense prescriptions to customersCounsel patients regarding directions and potential drug interactions.Complete and facilitate MTMs and CMRs.Must have excellent communication skills and able to manage pharmacy technicians.Immunization certified and willing to administer immunizationsAssist in day to day pharmacy operations and inventory managementRetail experience preferred and compounding experience is welcome, but not mandatoryMust have an OHIO pharmacist license in good standing QualificationsCurrent, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio (or eligibility to obtain); Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent required.Demonstrated expertise in prescription verification, clinical evaluation of medication therapy, and patient counseling.Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, formulary guidelines, and insurance/third-party billing processes.Proficiency with pharmacy information systems, electronic health records, and standard dispensing technologies.Ability to supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians, delegate tasks effectively, and support a collaborative team culture.Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to manage high prescription volumes safely.Clear, professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach when interacting with patients and healthcare providers.Experience in retail, community, or hospital pharmacy settings preferred; immunization certification and CPR/BLS are a plus.Compensation:Salary Range is $110,00 - $130,000 based on experienceMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance401kSchedule:9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
