Provide end-to-end project management, leadership and coordination for multiple, complex projects with responsibility for project initiation, approval, scope, schedule, cost, resource planning, risk management, and stage gate approach to project management. Manage alignment of financial, compliance, safety, customer and operational goals between/among projects and the BU or corporation. Lead the project team to achieve all critical financial, timing, operational, and change management metrics. Ensure effective sourcing, management and engagement of all resources.NOTE: This position maps to our Engineering classification and agencies. This position is intended for roles requiring technical experience such as engineering or construction. Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones. Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources and ensures the project teams are provided the resources and support that enable the teams to reach their defined objectives. Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation and status reports. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. The PM will manage multiple capital projects related to facilities and stations on the natural gas transmission and distribution system.Key scope details:Typically 6–8 projects per yearProject values range from approximately $300K to $2.5MProjects are usually two-year duration:Year 1: Engineering and permittingYear 2: ConstructionPM will manage projects at various phases simultaneously1.
