Travel RN - Telemetry - Pediatric Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric Stepdown position requiring at least 2 years of Peds Cardiac Stepdown experience and an Ohio RN license.Job Details• Pediatric Stepdown unit in a hospital setting,• Patient population includes pediatric cardiac patients with both medical and surgical diagnoses such as cardiac defects, heart and lung transplants, and post-op care following CTICU stays,• Specialized procedures and equipment include tracheostomies, mechanical ventilation, high flow nasal cannula, inotropes, and post-op cath care,• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,• Floating to other units may be required,Job Requirements• Active Ohio RN license (or Compact RN license with Ohio as primary state) currently in hand,• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown experience required,• 2 supervisor or manager-level references required for consideration (charge nurse references not accepted),Additional Information• Local candidates are not accepted for this RN position - candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility,• Candidates who have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years are not eligible,• Floating to other units is a standard expectation and travelers should be prepared for reassignment based on unit needs,
