Job TitleJob ResponsibilitiesCoordinates all activities between the U.S. post office and the Institution.Delivers and picks up all mail.Receives U.S. post office and United Parcel Service packages.Supervises inspection of all mail for contraband.Maintains and interprets SCDC policies and U.S. postal regulations concerning mail in an institutional environment.Maintains records of money instruments received and/or returned.Coordinates activities of E.H. Cooper trust fund.Researches records for the location of inmates in an effort to handle the mail properly.Supervises the receiving and distribution of U.S. and department mail.Supervises the activities of both incoming and outgoing mail and insure packages.Plans and schedules work assignments and employee training.Resume preferred but not required. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
