In this role, you will design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade network infrastructure spanning multiple global data centers and cloud environments, supporting the Applied Systems platforms that serve thousands of insurance agencies across North America and the UK.What You'll DoDesign, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across GCP, on-premises, and hybrid cloud environmentsManage cloud networking technologies including VPCs, VPNs, routing, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and IP address managementAdminister and troubleshoot BGP routing, site-to-site VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivitySupport and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancing platforms and related application delivery servicesDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and network automation solutions using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and AnsibleMonitor network performance, availability, and security using enterprise observability and monitoring toolsCreate and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooksCollaborate with Cloud, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure network solutions.Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support for critical network incidents and outage.We're looking for someone who:Experience with Azure and/or AWS networkingExperience with Cloudflare and modern observability platformsRelevant certifications such as CCNP, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, F5, or Terraform AssociateExperience implementing network automation and NetDevOps practicesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience supporting complex, multi-site environmentsExperience with GCP networking, including VPCs, Cloud Router, HA VPN, firewalls, and hybrid connectivityStrong knowledge of routing and networking protocols, including BGP and IPSec VPNExperience administering F5 BIG-IP LTM in a production environmentHands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation toolsStrong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsLocationCandidate will need to reside in North America, working arrangement will be remote.When You Join Team Applied, You Can Expect:A culture that values who you are and recognizes that you aren't just an employee; you are a teammate, and you matter.
