R&D Materials Planner

Position Overview Responsible for procurement and supply of Engineering materials spread across various build locations. lso responsible for material inventory levels as it moves through the R&D product cycle There are opportunities to communicate, and problem solve with cross functional teams Responsibilities Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material throughout the Procurement process Determines material requirements from Engineering Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering • Procurement business system data input and integrity; work w BOMs and parts #in SCM database or other enterprise SW Experience: Purchasing Experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment Ideally 2-7 years Skills: • MS Office - Knowledge with Excel Analytical and data manipulation skills • Good Organizational Skills • Good Communication Skills• Excels in fast paced environments• Experience working cross functionally• Intuitive and Proactive• Sense of Urgency• Experience with R&D• Experience with Peoplesoft a plus
