Job Role: Full Stack Software EngineerLocation: Onsite in Brookfield, WI, at least 3 days a week.Duration: 3-month contractPosition SummaryThis position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery. The candidate takes responsibility for the software artifacts produced, adhering to standards for security, observability, and performance.Essential ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications, including React-based UI, Java/Spring Boot APIs, Python microservices, and backend servicesBuild and enhance scalable, secure microservices aligned with enterprise architecture and performance standards, leveraging Spring Boot, FastAPI, and modern architectural patternsDevelop and integrate AI-powered agent workflows using LangGraph and LangChain for intelligent claim processing and decision automationCollaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-quality code, participate in design reviews, and continuously improve engineering practicesImplement and support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation using Docker, ensuring reliable and efficient deploymentsLead modernization initiatives, migrating legacy systems to cloud-native, microservices-based architecturesUse AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate coding, debugging, and knowledge sharing across the teamPreferred Skills/ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with React.js 19 , TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworksProven expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot framework, and building RESTful APIs and microservicesExperience developing Python applications using FastAPI and async patternsHands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including DDL/DML, performance tuningFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts and integration of LLM-based workflows into applicationsExperience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Proficiency with DevOps / CI-CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, Rancher)Expertise in identity & security frameworks (IAM, SSO, OAut., JWT, Active Directory, TLS/mTLS)Familiarity with enterprise security architectures and cross-platform security implementationFamiliarity with state machine patterns and workflow orchestration for complex business processesTechnical StackFrontend: React 19, TypeScript, React Router, Tailwind CSS, Leaflet mappingBackend API: Java 21, Spring Boot 3.3.4, Spring Data JPA, Spring State Machine, Spring Security AI Agents: Python 3.11 , FastAPI, LangGraph, LangChain Core, PydanticDatabase: PostgreSQLInfrastructure: Docker, OpenAPI/Swagger UI
