Job Summary

Duties
Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems and inventory software to track stock levels, perform stock counts, and update records accurately
Prepare, pack, and ship orders efficiently by picking items from shelves, packing them securely, and ensuring proper labeling for shipment
Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks, move stock within the warehouse, and organize storage areas
Manage shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards
Perform data entry tasks related to order fulfillment, stock movements, and shipment tracking using ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves properly and adhering to safety protocols during all operations
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for inventory or order status updates
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred; familiarity with warehouse experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and software tools such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP systems (e.g., AS400), or inventory management software
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; certification is advantageous
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting purposes
Understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with logistics principles including order picking & packing techniques
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer service efforts
