Growing together.We seek a Float Senior Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm CTLocation: Your home base will be 625 Court St, Ste P, Sioux City, IA 51101, but you will be asked to cover all other sites in IA for PTO and call outs. The other sites are located in Fort Doge, IA, Mason City, IA, Marshalltown, IA, Ottumwa, IA, and Davenport, IA.Primary Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staffFills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered PharmacistOrders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy suppliesReceives and processes wholesaler medication ordersVerifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory recordsWorks with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirementsPerforms various clerical duties relating to the departmentCommunicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skillsData entry tracking for siteAbility to resolve more complex claims issuesEstablished key relationships with Clinic Partners, Doctors, Patients, Pharmacists, CMC'sIndependently and collaboratively problem solve and propose solutionsWork with the SM to propose solutions to workflow challenges and fully understand Genoa Key Performance Indicators to support SM in marketing new business and communicate obstacles and challengesWorks alongside new or developing employees to provide training, guidance and support for career successPartner with CMCs to provide medication options and solutions for new patientsOther duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
