By using simple ideas, we are making solar energy a more affordable and clean power source for future generations.Job SummaryThe Senior Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the production floor to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery of products. This leadership role involves managing multiple teams or shifts, driving performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and manufacturing standards. The Senior Production Supervisor serves as a key link between frontline staff and upper management, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.QualificationsResponsibilities:Support the Production Manager and Floor Manager strategically to ensure there is sufficient coverage on the floor with properly trained personnel.Support the execution of defined production goals/performance metrics and benchmarked best practices.Support the Production and Floor Manager in identifying and sharing process enhancement opportunities within the operations manufacturing site.In coordination with the Floor Manager, to approve employee timecards and PTO requests in Paycom. In coordination with the Floor Manager and Supervisors to execute disciplinary procedures and write-ups etc.In cooperation with the Floor Manager and Production Manager to make decisions in the talent hiring process, employee evaluation, and employee discipline & termination.Work with the Floor Manager to develop, improve, and implement operator training programs to ensure continuous job training and cross-training.Make sure Supervisors complete daily reports on time and all employees adhere to safety requirements and company procedures.Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.Report all issues to the Floor Manager or Production Manager and adhere to company policies and procedures.Create, review and update production procedures and work instructions as required.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor’s degree preferred but not requiredProven leadership in Production Leadership role. Experience managing a large team of non-exempt employees.Direct Manufacturing experienceExcellent team management, leadership, and organizational skillsExperience using Microsoft office, excel, power point.Adhere to company policies set by each area and leaders.Must be highly organized, possess strong attention to details.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Detailed-oriented with a commitment to quality.
