Structural Engineer

The Structural Engineer will provide support for scaffolding, structural shoring, temporary structures, construction engineering, reshoring, etc. The structural engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments. This role will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.Structural Engineer ResponsibilitiesDesign structural components and systems using industry standards and best practicesPerform load calculations, structural analysis, and material selectionPrepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reportsCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designsConduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plansReview and approve shop drawings and construction documentsEnsure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations and codesStructural Engineer Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain)3+ years of relevant structural engineering experienceProficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or similar)Strong understanding of building codes and construction practicesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsHunter International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
