BHN is currently seeking a Family Partner to join our Community Service Agency (CSA) team to support parents and caregivers of youth with behavioral health needs.What We OfferSupportive and collaborative work environmentExtensive training in Wraparound principles and peer support modelsOpportunities for personal growth and professional developmentGenerous PTO and paid holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insurance403(b) retirement plan Mileage reimbursementFlexible scheduling to promote work/life balanceKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Family Partner, you’ll use your lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child with behavioral health needs to support other families in navigating systems and building resilience.Provide peer support to parents and caregiversHelp families identify strengths and develop strategies to meet care plan goalsEducate families on navigating child-serving systems such as DCF, DMH, education, and behavioral healthEmpower families by linking them to peer networks and support groupsConnect families with both formal and community-based resourcesFoster a culturally responsive and inclusive environmentMaintain accurate and timely documentationCollaborate with care teams and attend family planning meetingsActively engage in supervision and ongoing trainingWho You AreYou have personal experience as a caregiver of a youth with special or behavioral health needsYou have a High School diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition-age youthOR an Associate’s Degree and 1 year of relevant experienceOR a Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of relevant experienceYou are knowledgeable about navigating child and family-serving systemsYou have strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skillsYou are comfortable using electronic systems and documentation toolsYou are culturally responsive and value diverse lived experiencesYou have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicleBilingual- fluent in English and Spanish (Preferred) About BHNSince 1938, BHN has been a regional leader in behavioral health, serving individuals of all ages across Western Massachusetts.
