Our Iowa City manufacturing site is a high-volume, highly automated facility producing iconic brands such as Head & Shoulders, Pantene, and Scope. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead critical capital projects that support innovation, automation, reliability, compliance, and growth across the site.In this role, you will serve as both a technical leader and project manager, owning projects from concept through startup and operational handoff. Depending on business need and your background, this role may be aligned to either our Making Process organization or our Packing team.What You’ll DoAs a Senior Project Manager, you will lead capital programs ranging from $2-20 million. Project types may include:New product initiativesCapacity expansionCost savings and productivity improvementsKey ResponsibilitiesLead capital projects end-to-end, from early scope development through design, execution, startup, and handoffServe as the holistic project leader, balancing technical, financial, and execution prioritiesManage project scope, schedule, budget, and resource plans to ensure successful deliveryDrive strong capital management, including spend forecasting, tracking, and change controlOwn risk management activities, including identifying, mitigating, and escalating key risks and issuesProvide effective communication to stakeholders at all levels, from project teams to site leadershipManage external vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers to ensure quality execution and performanceMaintain and drive CPS tracking and other project reporting/documentation requirementsPartner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, finance, purchasing, and other key functionsEnsure projects meet safety, quality, compliance, and performance expectationsRequiredJob QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering5+ years of relevant industry experienceExperience leading projects in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environmentDemonstrated capability in project planning, execution, capital management, and risk managementStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teamsPreferredExperience in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environmentBackground in process/making systems or packing/packaging operationsExperience with automation, manufacturing technology, or equipment integrationExperience managing medium-to-large capital projectsFamiliarity with startup, commissioning, and operational handoff processesWhat We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a leader who can combine strong engineering fundamentals with practical project execution.
