Teaching Assistant Are you a Computer Science major (or similar) looking to gain hands-on experience, grow your coding skills, and support a mission-driven nonprofit? Join us as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for one of our upcoming cohorts! At Code Platoon, we train Veterans and military families to become professional software engineers. As a TA, you'll be part of that mission to help students succeed while gaining valuable experience. What You’ll Do Learn alongside students during our programs (remote) and prepare to assist with upcoming lessons Support students with coding assignments and daily exercises You don’t need to know everything ahead of time. We expect you to come in as an advanced beginner and grow from there. What You’ll Get A $20,000 Education at no cost Hands-on experience with tools and technologies used by working developers A $2,500 stipend for the full internship What We’re Looking For Computer Science (or related) major with at least 2 software development classes by the start of the program Rising sophomore or above Passion for learning and helping others Strong communication and collaboration skills Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Internship Details Job Type: Full-time internship (remote) Schedule: Immersive Program: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST Evening & Weekend Program: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays (5:30–9:30 p.m. CST) and Saturdays (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST) Stipend: $2,500 Location: Remote Language: English Open TA Positions Corsair Platoon: February 2 – May 15, 2026 AI Cloud & DevOps: Evening & Weekend Echo Platoon: April 27 – November 7, 2026 Evening & Weekend Juliet Platoon: June 1 – December 14, 2026 How to Apply Complete our coding skills assessment.
