NOTICE OF VACANCYSummer School 2026 - INFORMATIONMarch 16, 2026Hourly RatesTeachers - $43.46 per hourTeaching Assistants - $28.65 per hourSummer School Preparation - $30.75 per hourSummer School Clean Up - $30.75 per hourSummer School Training/Workshops (as needed) - $22.96 if training is after June 30thAttendance: Absences are for emergencies only. An absence without prior approval causes disruption to the entire program. The expectation is that employees will be present for all days. Lapses in attendance will be considered when hiring for future Summer School employment opportunities.All positions are contingent upon enrollment, maintenance of enrollment and student attendance. Employees will not be paid when students are absent. If attendance rate drops during Summer School, staff requirements and needs will be adjusted accordingly.What if I have Questions? Special Education Summer School ProgramSummer School - Instructional StaffPOSTINGDates/TimesMonday through Friday July 6 - August 14, 2026Student sessions will be 8:30am -2:00pm. All Staff will work 8:15am -2:15pm.On August 14, 2026, one hour of clean-up will be available upon request from 2:00-3:00pm.Seniority will be used when multiple staff members apply for the same position. Applicants must be steeped in special education best practice and collaborate with all staff to meet the needs of students in the K-12+ Developmental Self-Contained program. Applicants will ensure implementation of curriculum, assist in materials management, gather feedback, report to the summer school supervisor(s), provide instructional coaching, track student progress and other duties as assigned by the summer school supervisor(s).
