Job Title: Registered Nurse - Psych Location: Houma, LA Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension Shift: Days & Nights, 3*12, every other weekend required Key Responsibilities: · Gauging patients' psychiatric states. · Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans. · Administering psychotropic and similar medications. · Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens. · Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features. · Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients. · Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations. · Conducting targeted psychoeducation, particularly within families. Requirements: · BLS (AHA) · LA RN state license or compact state license · 1 Yr of recent experience in a Acute Hospital
