Security Guard

You will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and responding swiftly to incidents. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior Control access using security systems, perform background checks on visitors, and verify credentials Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures for fire, medical incidents, or security threats Write detailed incident reports documenting any unusual activity or security breaches Perform physical security tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and maintaining secure perimeters Utilize law enforcement techniques when necessary, including conflict de-escalation and conflict management strategies Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly preferred Knowledge of surveillance technology, access control systems, and emergency response procedures Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, Taser use, firearm handling, and heavy lifting are advantageous Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks effectively Familiarity with compliance regulations related to physical security and safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your vigilance makes a difference!
