To support innovative AI development, the full-time Senior Open Source Design Engineer will design, prototype, and ship user interfaces for Arize Phoenix, focusing on enhancing both human and agent experiences in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
Design and build compelling product experiences across UI-driven and programmatic workflows
Develop reusable components and templates for the design system from concept to production
Prototype new AI features and UI patterns to visualize performance and explain AI behavior
Required qualifications
Strong frontend engineering skills in React and TypeScript
Deep understanding of interaction design and information architecture
Curiosity about AI systems and eagerness to learn about agent collaboration
Experience in rapid prototyping and iterative design processes
Commitment to accessibility, performance, and design craft
