Thisposition is not employed by Vista Care. We are seeking a reliable andcompassionate care worker to provide in-home support for a male individual. This positionoffers approximately 13 hours per week in individuals' homes, with potential for additionalhours in the near future. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providingone-on-one care and takes pride in making a meaningful difference in someone's dailylife.Primary Responsibilities:Assistance and support with personal caresPreventive skin care/lotion/powderAssistance with dressing/undressing individualLight housekeeping dutiesWeekly laundry with individual to local laundry mattCompanionship and emotional supportTransportation to run errands with individual such as picking up groceries or for appointments (mileage paid)Following established care plan while respecting the dignity, comfort and independenceHelp with meal planning and preparation. Including making food and assisting during meal as neededMedication management RequirementsAbility to pass WI caregiver background check requirements(Other Requirements)Experience with personal careDependable vehicle with proof of insuranceValid driver's licensePatience and comfort working with individuals who have limited verbal and or communicationDependable, respectful and compassionateAbility to follow care instruction and communicate with individual and care team
