Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Location: Flagstaff, AZSchedule: Full-Time, 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM 6:30 PM), 40 Hours/Week (Every Other Weekend Required)About the Role:We are seeking compassionate, reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated care team in Flagstaff, Arizona, serving our nations Veterans and Members. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive team environment.Responsibilities:Assist Veterans/Members with activities of daily living (ADLs), including transfers, ambulation, eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygieneFollow instructions for therapeutic exercises and use of assistive devicesSupport nursing staff with simple medical procedures (e.g., enemas, treatments, post-surgical/post-mortem care)Monitor and report changes in residents conditions; take vital signs and collect specimensDocument care activities accurately and maintain medical recordsAssist with dining services, including transporting residents and meal assistanceRespond promptly to call lights and requests for assistanceMaintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment (e.g., changing linens, personal area upkeep)Support emergency response efforts as neededTransport residents to appointments and assist with light clerical tasksParticipate in Arizona Management System (AMS) activities and Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiativesQualifications:Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of ArizonaHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAt least one year of CNA experience preferred, but new CNAs are encouraged to applyAbility to work every other weekend and 12-hour shiftsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to maintaining patient dignity and safetyKey Competencies:Knowledge of para-professional nursing practices and applicable Arizona regulationsFamiliarity with medical equipment and proper hygiene proceduresAbility to document accurately and follow care plansTeam-oriented with a strong sense of accountabilityWhy Join Us?Meaningful work serving Veterans and community membersCollaborative and supportive work environmentOpportunities for professional growth through AMS and QAPI involvementRequired qualifications:Legally authorized to work in the United States18 years or olderAvailable to work: weekends
